Adapted Bowling
The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) offers an Adapted Bowling program that runs annually from February through May. All 7th-12th graders with a diagnosed disability (ASD, CI, PI) are eligible to participate on the team. Local team information is listed below. Pine Island Adapted Team
- Open to 7th-12th Graders.
- No cost to participate in this program.
- No experience necessary! Coaching is provided.
- Participants can earn a high school letter in bowling.
- Practices are held at Trailhead Lanes in Pine Island.
- Practice is on Mondays & Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.
- Transportation to the bowling alley is available from a school van. Parents are responsible for pick-up.
- Head-to-head matches are held in Stewartville, Red Wing, Lake City, and Hayfield. State tournaments are held in the Twin Cities.
